What's wrong with a little, liver, bacon and onions? Serve it alongside some boiled potatoes, mix all together--what a feast! (Make sure the liver is calf's or "baby beef", as your grandma would say).

Oxtail soup is or at least was a staple at German restuarants in Germany. That is about as adventurous as I've gotten with meats other than the marinated lamb tongue I told you about.
